Guest Blogging for Brevity

One of my favorite online literary publications is Brevity, so I’m always thrilled when I can share my words through this venue. Over the weekend, I was able to attend Poets & Writers ((LIVE)) in San Francisco, and guest post on the Brevity blog (Making Love in Public part 1 and part 2). Below is another image from my sketchbook from that event. The panel was actually called, Why WE Write, not Why I Write, but if you read the posts, you’ll see I struggle with self-obsession…I think very little of my self, but I do it all the time (someone has probably said that before, but I can’t remember who…hopefully Kafka). If anyone is in the Chicago area and reads this before June 20, 2015, I highly recommend the next Poets & Writers ((LIVE)) conference.
